Basic Life Support

BLS is all about the basics of adult, child, and infant CPR. This class teaches how to assess if someone is unresponsive and needing compressions, how to properly give compressions and breaths, and how to react in an emergency setting. Other basic skills like rescue breathing, what to do when someone is choking, and how to assess an infant are also taught. This class is great for new parents, grandparents, babysitters, daycare workers, teachers, office staff, and medical professionals. Students will be expected to perform compressions and breaths on a mannequin. This American Heart Association certification is good for two years but learning these skills could last a lifetime.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

ACLS is designed specifically for medical professionals who can administer drugs and assess cardiac rhythms. This class teaches and reviews BLS, cardiac rhythms, drugs, using the defibrillator, treating the Hs and Ts, and how to react to a cardiac arrest situation individually and as a team. Students will be expected to perform compressions and breaths and display their knowledge to pass a megacode situation. This American Heart Association certification is good for two years and required for many hospital and medical jobs. BLS recertification can be added into this class for the individuals who need it.

Mock Code Consulting

Mock Code Consulting is the practice you need for your staff to feel comfortable in any emergency.
In this class, we come to your facility and train your staff on emergencies specifically to your specialty using your facility policies, space, and medical supplies.
Does your staff feel prepared to react quickly to a cardiac arrest, heart attack, or stroke? If the answer is maybe or no, then practice and repetition may be necessary for better patient outcomes.
We want to prepare you before the emergency occurs so that everyone can react quickly and confidently in their roles.
Training based on your facility’s policies along with the American Heart Association training of BLS and ACLS.
